2020 Offcamber Gravel Fondo
What's a Gravel Fondo? I hear you ask...
Inspired by the Italian Gran Fondo Rides, which loosely translates to 'Big Ride' Then add the 'Gravel' element with the mixed terrain - and expect exactly that!
Gravel Fondo's focus on Endurance and Reliability. As in you need to be self reliant, the route is NOT marked, you will need to be able to self navigate. You also need to be able to look after yourself and your bike but the main thing to remember is Gravel Grinding is supposed to be fun, so don't take it too seriously.
All Entrants will finish to a 'Post-Fondo' Pizza and a proper bottle of beer on their return. The Pizza is wood fired and cooked to order by Mario and Luigi at Chulli Wood Fired Pizza - Fantastico!!
Full routes to be confirmed but expect approx 130k but a faster average speed than the 2019 Event, so you won't be on the saddle any longer.
